A Legacy of Businesses, Built to Scale

The Beginning (A Quiet Start)

A note from Furqan Khan

I didn’t start out trying to build large businesses. I started by trying to fix small ones that weren’t working. In the early 2000s, I was handed responsibility for a few struggling retail stores in Houston. They weren’t impressive. They weren’t easy. But they taught me something important: that growth doesn’t come from big ideas alone, it comes from doing the basics well, every single day.

Over time, those lessons shaped how I work, how I invest, and how I lead. I’ve been fortunate to grow businesses across telecom, real estate, retail, and food; not by chasing trends, but by building systems that last. I’m still learning; still refining; still focused on the same thing. I want my legacy to be one of building businesses that are steady, responsible and built to outlive the moment.

Journey Across Domains

Telecommunications & Retail Scale

Through Mobilelink Group, Furqan Khan leads one of the largest authorized wireless retail networks in the United States, operating hundreds of company‑owned locations nationwide. His focus remains on operational control, compliance, customer experience  and sustainable expansion.

Real Estate As Infrastructure

With Zara Spaces, Furqan oversees a diversified commercial real estate portfolio across office, retail, and mixed‑use properties. Each asset is positioned for long‑term yield, tenant stability, and strategic appreciation, not speculation.

Food & Consumer Ventures

Through Amirah Ventures, he has entered the food and beverage sector, applying the same operational discipline, brand consistency, and performance standards to consumer‑facing businesses in highly competitive markets.

Real Estate As Investment

Zara Spaces is expanding with a clear objective, to make international real estate ownership more accessible for the U.S. community. The opportunity allows buyers to invest in property with transparent processes. It’s an approach designed for long-term value, ease of ownership, and informed decision-making, not speculation.

Furqan’s Focus Today

Most of his time is spent on:

  • Strengthening business fundamentals before expansion

  • Supporting leadership teams through periods of scale

  • Evaluating opportunities through long-term risk and value, not momentum

  • Building systems that continue to perform without constant intervention

  • I’m less interested in speed, and more interested in sustainability

Experience,
In Context

Over the years, this approach has been applied across multi-state operations and diversified portfolios.

That includes scaling retail networks into hundreds of locations, overseeing large teams, and developing commercial real estate assets designed for long-term yield rather than short-term speculation.

These outcomes weren’t the objective; they were the byproduct of disciplined execution.
